A Year of Creative Reckonings In true Capricorn style, I recently made a list of all I accomplished creatively in 2018. In looking over my cute list of both small and large things, there seems to be something intangible that may be reflected in the list of “accomplishment”, but not anywhere near expressed by it. On so much lovely womanhood being portrayed on the small screen: There is nothing like being seen in a story by another human. I laughed reading some of the angry, dismissive and super critical viewer reviews of “She’s Gotta Have It” on Netflix. As a nearly 27 year old woman and an artist and a monogamy skeptical woman I lay in my bed, I watched it alone in a few nights, I honestly felt like I’m getting a hug watching it. WONDER WOMAN correctly predicts the novel existence of female protagonist is beyond enough to satisfy female audiences Let me first say, I came out of this film laughing and rolling my eyes a little, having went in with little expectations and seen basically exactly what I would expect to see from Hollywood.
